Film Revoir - The 27th (Second) Time

I kinda got hooked into writing film reviews already. And since I'm in the midst of planning to watch some movies, why not I do another review. But this time I'm going to do a review of a movie that came out for about a month ago.

27 Dresses

This movie starred Katherine Heigl, James Marsden and Malin Akermen. Just in case you don't know who these people are, I'll do a short introduction for you guys.

Katherine Heigl plays the lead actress, Jane. The bridesmaid who attend 27 weddings. Katherine is actress behind Grey's Anatomy, Izzie Stevens (which was the role that won her the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in Drama Series mind you.) and the oops-I-got-pregnant Alison from Knocked Up.

Then we have James Marsden. He plays writer, Kevin, in the film. A cynical person who doesn't give a shit about weddings but the irony is, he writes reviews for the best wedding held in town. James most famous role is the Marvel comics character, Scott Summers AKA Cyclops in the movie series X-Men. He also plays the quirky Prince Edward in the movie Enchanted.

As for the other actor Malin Akermen, you don't have to care about who she is because she is just being a dumb blond bitch throughout the whole movie. That is one point you need to know.

This movie is sweet and funny. With many bitchy humor in it, you are really going to laugh your heads off with this. The blooming love between the lead character is set to give anyone diabetes by the end of the movie.

The plot of the movie is really really simple, kinda like a no-brainer. Jane is the bridesmaid who attended 27 weddings. She keeps all the dresses of these weddings for memento sake. She then met Kevin, a cynical writer who doesn't believe in weddings. Then at the end of the movie, both of them got married.

This movie is not as bimbotic as movies like Bratz or Mean Girls. There is a certain depth to this movie. You do have to understand the character and what they are going through in order to understand this movie completely.

Movie Rating:
I've watched the movie, so that you can spend $7.50 to watch it on a weekday.

Here is the trailer of the movie, enjoy it.
Ignore the Tail Devil commercial at the end, I'm not advertising for them.
