Hi guys, this time I should really apologize for the long vacation I took. Its a whooping 15days since I last blog, its 2 whole freaking weeks of neglecting my blog and my passionate readers.
Anyway, this is more or less going to be a rant post with some pictures thrown into it.
Work as always have been a pain in the ass, I just can't wait for my contract to finish. Seriously, if I see another Eldershield application form or any form of NTUC Income application I will go berserk and go around slaughtering anyone with paper shurikens I made from the forms they sent in.
While working, I am constantly keeping myself from going crazy and ending up killing myself with paper cuts.
Everyday is just the same old routine. Application, application, application and more applications. What irks me even more is untidy applications. Why can't people write properly? Why can't they just give a damn about the people who has to go through the freaking forms?
And another thing is, what is so difficult about filling in simple forms? The form clearly states that we need people to fill in the correct fields, the correct information. I have got a client who clearly called up and ask how to fill in a form that only requires his name, identification number, contact number, email, height and weight. The other things required is to just tick some boxes and sign in the box at the end of the application?
Seriously, you guys should have seen that form, its so freaking simple even a kindergarden kid can fill it up by himself. Comeon, that application form is not some SAT test.
And why do people like to do things last minute?
There are some forms that are sent to policy holders 6 months ago for them to slowly take their time to complete and have it send back within a period of 6 months. And on the day of the deadline, I get calls from policy holders panicking and asking whether they could send in the form by 8pm.
Like HARLOW!!! Some of us actually need to rest!!! And office hours ends at 6!!!
Really, I see a common trait in this country. Singaporeans start to panic when some big shit is about to happen or have already landed on their sorry ass.
One very good example - Early 2003, SARS Pandemic.
Nothing constructive was actually done in Singapore. We only started to panic and tries to salvage the situation when the rise in SARS cases went steeper than the SGX can rise.

For the benefit of my non-Chinese readers here:
If our leader does not possess the correct qualities and is haphazard in his/her work, what else is expected from us, the ones working hard at the bottom of the food chain. Without a good leader, Singaporeans are like headless cockroaches.

That disclaimer there was to protect myself from the local authorities since you know, they tend to misread things. And all of us know the truth hurts and some people are wussies to things that are true.

I have been pondering to myself while working and I did ask a few of my other colleagues about this as well.
"What do our bosses do?" Bosses as in those really high up there.
Yea, they maybe in the office all the time, but for all you know they maybe chatting on MSN with the other big bosses of other companies, surfing Facebook, playing some MMORPG or even watching videos on youtube!
They are after all up there, they can just chuck any urgent work to their 'bitches' to finish it up for them. They have the power of leverage. That is, they are the power, we are the leverage.
And this question developed a bit further.
"What does the Prime Minister do in his free time?"
Does he watch videos on youtube?
Does he watch TVB serials on his DVD player with full surround sound?
Does he play mahjong?
Does he order Mcdonald's online?
Does he chat on MSN with the other Cabinet ministers as well?
Other than suits, polo tees and sponsored T-Shirts, does he wear anything else?
And if he had a personal email address, what would it be?
Is it pmslee@hotmail.com? (PM's Son) or raiselefthand@yahoo.com?
Anyway, better stop poking him already.
