Blog fit!!!

If someone has bitch fits then I am having a blog fit right now.

IDK...I have been blog hopping alot during work and I stumbled on quite a few blogs though, mostly people that you wished were your boyfriends.

Apart from their emo posts, they all seem to be living according to what Good Charlotte sang "Lifestyle of the Rich and the Famous".

Oh yea they are famous alright and boy are they loaded...

But why do such people live vicariously?

The straight-up-your-ass-fart-in-the-face-answer is "They can"

Which is why it causes certain social stigma and status quo conflict when they mingle around with people that couldn't afford to live their way.

It sometimes becomes too stressful for the people who can't, due to multiple gossips and peer pressure, that they started to drift away from them.

Somehow we have to empathize for these people. They are really out to find true friends but mostly all they get are friends that care nothing but the fame and the other extrinsic perks that comes along with that friendship.

It may take 20 people to become that famous group because they are good looking, some really rich or it may just take one person to get up there with firm solid foot hold on his position within the community. Whoever do you think is going to fall soon is really up to your own judgement. But I am rooting for the single with that quality position from where he stands.

Back to the rich and famous topic.

I always dream of living that way. I thought I would be happy living that way though.

But as age accumulates and wisdom gathers. A question dawns on me and I ponder.

"Are these people really happy?"

Who knows...

But I know for now, I dun the urge to climb up whatever social ladder they had to climb in order to be where they are. I am contented with where I am at the moment and I don't intend to go anywhere at the moment.

I may not be living as lavishly as they are. I may not be living as glamorously as they are. But I am hell sure I am living a more contented live and a more meaningful life as compared to them.
