Revoir - Anorexic Man

If there are any phones that brings a perfect matrimony between design and functionality, that would be the new Sony Ericsson W890i (okay its my own opinion so shut up about it.). This phone adds on to the competition for being a slim music phone (weighing only 76gm!?!?!), with other competitors like Nokia XpressMusic™ 5310 and Samsung phones alike.

The Mocha Bronze makes the phone look like a fashion spread by itself

But anyway this is my new toy that I bought recently for a really good deal of $98, along with a recontract of 2years with Singtel. I would say this is a pretty good bargain for a relatively new phone that is out on the market.

I can now listen to my favorite remixes before hitting the watering hole.

Being a Sony Ericsson and a Walkman phone, this baby here boast nothing but great memory features and media functions. Coming along with a 2gb memory card, you can store as much as 1500 songs or lot of pictures or alot of videos. Which means endless camwhoring without you stupid phone complaining about memory space.

Other than the music player function, Sony Ericsson have decided to put in a 3.2megapixel camera and also a front camera for video calls. One of my favorite functions about this phone is the PhotoDJ™ application that comes pre-installed along with this pretty baby.

For the benefit of those that have never used a Sony Ericsson phone before or those who are IT Dinosaurs, I shall explain this application in short. This application is the really simplifiied version of your Adobe Photoshop. You can edit your photos, add in effects, text and alot other special effects with this handy application. Like how I did it.

With the PhotoDJ™ application, you can edit your photos anytime, anywhere

This phone has got the other basic commodities of a modern phone. It has got blue tooth functions, photo taking, video and hell lots of other functions that make our life easier. And this phone is almost comparable to the Nokia Navigator phone. Because it has a one touch access to Google Map.

Now, even without expensive phones that burn holes in your Levi's 501 Jeans, you would be able to find your way to where you want to go. Moreover the map is exactly like what you see on Google Map.

But one thing about this phone is that the charging/earphone port is at the side of the phone. Which means you will have an unsightly protrusion whenever you want to listen to music or to the radio.

Personally I wouldn't mind that port to be on the base of the phone. But I would definitely prefer to have a dedicated 2.5/3.5 mm earphone jack on the top or the base of the phone.

I am happy with this pretty buy and I intend to stick to this phone like my V3i. I would definitely miss the flip phone action. You know like when you hate that caller, you can smack shut the phone which would probably give you more satisfaction that just gently pressing that hang up button.
