I've learnt a few lessons the past few days. But only 2 important lessons that I would like to share with you people. As cliche as it may sound, but it's really something we should all come to realise.
Lessons 1: Impermanence
Everything is in a constantly change. Nothing stays the same forever. Everything, bodied or ethereal, is in a constant flux of change. Even if the choice we make at the moment might seem to have a definite result in the end, the slightest variable can change the whole cosmos into a separate ending that we do not want.
Rather than bad, changes can be good, it can be comforting as well. For example, a change of job to a better environment; moving on from a lost love, changes can be, instead, positive.
Lesson 2: Opportunity
The Koreans describe Opportunity as a being clad in a white poncho, and with lots of hair covering the face but is totally bald at the back of his/her head (think pontianaks). You don't know what or who is walking towards you. You are scared that it might be something that will cost you something dear.
But once it walks pass you and you suddenly notice that its Opportunity, there is no way you can grab it any more, because there is nothing for you to grab at the back of its head (since its bald and has got no hair).
